I am renting a flat to a couple with an 18month old child and where the lady is heavily pregnant with twins.

After 1 month of delays the flat is back together again albeit the lounge floor has a tempory hardwood floor as I am struggling to find suitable replacement for the original wood floor as it is no longer available. The hardwood was put down as a tempory measure so that the floor is flat, level and safe.

My pregnant tennent is now threatening to lay any floor before she is due as the hardwoord floor is not safe for her 18 month old child.

Although I am doing everything to accommodate her am I responsible to provide a child friendly house? As I see it I have provided a functioning flat, it not the final polished version but its safe from a general living perspective.

Any advise?
