Hello,

A solicitor has advised that if you suspect your tenant has gone and if you are storing their property if you are simply storing the goods and then selling to recover storage and sale costs with the balance, if any, being returned to the former tenant, the notice should set out the period you will be keeping the goods for they suggest giving them 14 days.

If the intention is to sell and keep some or all of the proceeds, not only to cover sale and storage costs but also to recover outstanding rent, then the notice must be for a minimum of 3 months.

I have seen lots of different timesales, what are peoples thoughts?
