Bathroom leak and cracked bath

I've just received a text from my tenant to say there is a leak from the bathroom and she suspects it's due to a crack in the bath.
I'm trying to arrange a time to inspect it and understand the issue a bit more, but if there is a crack in the bath who would you expect is responsible for that. Surely a bath is not a consumable item that one would expect to replace due to wear and tear, but rather it has cracked due to some sort of abuse.

Thanks for any input.
