a tenant I accommodated for a friend signed a six months contract, he has now lost his job and is going back to Brazil. He has paid December but will owe jan to March. If we have to relet then can I charge him costs out of his deposit ie the fee the owner paid me, also I paid someone to post it onto Rightmove so I paid them, etc etc..?
