I am new to the letting scence. Is there any disadvantage in transferrig the deposit I hold for my property into one of the tenancy deposit schemes so that the agreement becomes a AST??? One of the tenancy deposit schemes is free whereas the other two [insurance backed] are not. Is there any true advantages of using the ones you have to pay for over the one [DPS] that is free? Please let me know. AME
