Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Hi were are having to take our tenants to court for possession as we are having to sell, also for rent arrears, court case is set for the 11th February 2014, should we give in a witness statement? They are also saying that they will prove at the hearing that we have not completed repairs following a leak, electrics were sorted however ceiling still requires some paint work! however they have completely rusted out the radiator in the bathroom which was new due to not ventalating the room, caused wall damage through playing darts, and other wall damage through lack of care, any suggestions as to what we should do about this. We do not have a deposit inwhich to claim repairs or arrears back either!
