I have a very good mortgage rate under one portfolio mortgage(interest only capped at 1.99% above base rate) which comes to an end when I am 70.
I would like to keep the properties indefinitely and would need to remortgage at a later date.
I am thinking of trying to remortgage in a few years time perhaps before I am 65 not because I want a better rate but because I am worried that no company will be interested in giving me a mortgage later.
I would like to have your views on the subject
