Hi, the references and credit checks have been made on my new tenant and they are satisfactory. He has now informed me that he has applied for his partner (not wife) to join him in the UK in May this year. The AST will be in his name alone and he can afford the rent. He did not include her as a contributor to the rent on the application form. I'm not sure what checks, if any, I need to make when his partner arrives. Any advice or guidance would be really appreciated.
