I have a student house for 5 sharers. Up til now I have always let it to a group signing a joint assured shorthold tenancy agreement.I may want to let it next year to 5 sharers again, but they may not be one group ie perhaps two groups - one of 3 and one of 2, or even just individuals. Obviously I can get them to agree to sign one joint agreement once I have got all 5 in place, but are there implications if I get them instead to each sign an individual agreement?
