Hi

I have a building that is let to students. Each student has an AST for their own room within the building (the common areas are shared.

One of the tenants has asked me if she would be able to stay an extra three days after her AST expires as she lives abroad and her graduation ceremony is a few days later.

The AST commenced on 13th January 2014 for a term of 29 weeks ending on 31st July. she wants to stay until 3rd August.

Please can you let me know what i need to do in order to enable her to stay the extra days, without it causing me any potential legal implications or other issues? can she just stay the extra three days? do i need to issue a new AST etc?

thanks again for you help.

kind regards,

David.
