I am an experienced landlord of 17 years and have used three different deposit protection schemes with no real issues with paperwork. However, I now use Depositguard - Is it just me who finds the 'prescribed information' unclear and tedious? I have read and re-read it still find it difficult to comprehend. I do of course send the printed out papers to the new tenants who I'm certain don't read it either. Can we please have a concise plain English version with clear script instead of the rambling ambiguous long-winded version over several pages we have to issue now? I for one would be willing to pay a small fee to receive from the RLA some pre-printed versions such as the 'Information for Tenants' pre-printed leaflet mydeposits.co.uk used to issue.
