My house has been put up for sale and my tenant who has been in the property for the past 6 years has decided that she will stop paying her rent. Her contract ends on June 1st. She is reluctant to leave. She is 500pound in arrears. Her deposit account does not even cover her arrears and obviously this would be a lot more if she doesn't make any further payments.

When she was having financial problems, I was quite kind to her and stopped the interest charges. I am now in the same situation that I have to sell my house. If she decides at the end of her contract not to move out, I suppose it would mean me going through the courts to evict her. Please advise me. Thank you
