My tenant moved in on 02/03/14 on a 6 month fixed term AST. She would now like to extend the tenancy for a further 6 months beyond the original fixed term which we are happy to do. We would like to tie the tenancy in now for a fixed term until 01/03/15 (i.e for the full 12 months.) Do we just need to sign a new AST to replace the current one?
