Our council have approved a licensing scheme that allows them to charge landlords £525 per rented flat or property (? how often). Have any other landlords started doing this. I just happen to read a very small article hidden within our free paper. I have heard of a meeting for southern landlords in my area to discuss this I presume which I intend to go to I cannot see how it can be justified. I class myself as a decent landlord but the people next door are local authority and they are problems but I do not see the council take on their responsibilities.
