Hi,

I have inspection certificates for both the emergency lighting and the fire detection and alarm system in my licensed HMO (EPM2 and FSM2 respectively). Both certificates RECOMMEND (and it's written in capitals) that the next inspection should be carried out within 12 months.

Can you please tell me what my legal requirement is for getting updated certificates? No alterations to either system has been made in the past 12 months.
