Good Afternoon

Can anyone help please, I've issued a section 8 correctly and now applied to County Court for possession. I've now received an email from a consultant that the tenant has hired to fight the eviction and this consultant is claiming that rental arrears are classed a minor debt and that a judge has the right to either set payment at a lower rate! I've never seen/heard this but I just want to clarify where exactly I stand as proceeding to court on the strength of a section 8 is littered with potential problems anyway........thank you
