I'm looking at the AST - Room Only document supplied by RLA. It refers to the 'property' and Page 2, Section A, Clause 1 refers to 'We let out the property which is' (insert address) etc etc. Surely, if one is renting out a room in a 'shared house' of students, each tenant having their own AST - Room Only agreement, there should be some reference to which room one is letting to the Tenant? As it is phrased on the website, it would appear the tenant has 'the property' which could be taken to mean the whole property. Or does one get round this by specifying the particular room in Section A.1, stating property address, specific room and the shared areas. I note Clause A.15 refers to the shared areas but nowhere is there a reference to a specific room.Or perhaps the fact that the document is headed AST - Room Only is sufficient?
