Do I have to attend court?
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

I served a Section 21 notice on a tenant, and have received a letter saying that Judge X has ordered:

(1) the Defendant give the Claimant possession of ( Property Y) on 9th july 2014

(2) This matter be adjourned to Zth June 2014 at 2pm at the County Court .

I'm trying to handle this myself to save solicitor fees, but I don't know if I have to attend court, and/or make a case for possession.
