Our tenants have had a small fire in the bathroom, caused by never turning the isolation switch off for the shower. The fire is minimal, but the main issue is smoke damage to clothers upstairs etc...
We have offered them alternative accommodation ( which is currently being redecorated so not as nice). If they refuse, are we legally obliged to 'put them up' say in a hotel?
Any help would be great, as the offices are closed at this time
