So my tenant (who is soon to leave having served section 21) has had her locks glued. This is the front door to the apartment off a secure entry lobby.
Am I responsible for the cost involved in calling out a locksmith, replacing lock, etc etc??
I think not - if this was an act of vandalism, surely it was against the tenant, not me?
I have had endless trouble with her and her drunken loudmouthed boyfriend, the rest of the block are soooooooooo pleased they are going (fingers crossed) the complaints against her are endless.
Where do I stand with regard to the cost? She is threatening to deduct from her monthly rent -
Thank you for any advice.
