Clearing flat after being granted Possession

I have recently been granted possession of my flat (from a tresspasser) who has disappeared without clearing the property. Baliffs posted the Possession Order for me and I have had the locks changed by an authorised locksmith. I have had conflicting advice with regard to how long before I can clear the flat. Does anyone know?
