Ending Tenancy and use of Section 21(4) A

I issued my tenants with a section 21(4)a notice, when they signed there tenancy agreement.The notice expired after the tenancy agreement.

The tenancy expires on the 9/12/2011 and has been on monthly contractual tenancy ever since. They pay weekly due every Friday.

The deposit is protected by DPS, and the prescribed information issued at the time.

I have signed document by the tenants confirming receipt of section 21 and prescribed information.

1. Can i still use the original Section 21 notice bearing in mind it was issued a few years ago, or will i have to re-issue a new notice.

2. If i can use the original, notice can i apply for a procession order immediately.
