Hi

The newbie again. Been considering the value of rent insurance in the light of my experience with FCC Paragon who have proven to be exceptionally dishonest and deceitful, basically challenging me to test my case in a court of law counting on the prohibitive cost of litigation as a 'natural' barrier.

I am taking a large deposit and lodging that under the RLA's TDS so am covered against the possibility of what I have recently experienced, viz. absconding tenant leaving mess and unpaid rent.

Should I also consider rent insurance from someone a little more reputable as a belt and braces approach? Or am I simply wasting money?

Welcome any thoughts and ideas
Thanks
Jal
