We took a call today from a residential Landlord who told us that Birmingham county court bailiffs were quoting 12 weeks before they could arrange a possession and this is certainly not the first time we have heard of these delays, one client was quoted 16 weeks! Whilst we currently advise Landlords to use Section 42 to use HCEOs, surely now it's time for legislation to be changed to allow Landlords the option of who they want to use without the need for a separate application?
