Missing Tenant

Rent Arrears

I have a Slovakian tenant who seems to have gone back to Slovakia. There has been no rent paid for August and nothing yet for September, all his possessions are still in the flat and a lot of unopened mail including two letters I have sent him.

What procedure do I need to follow as there is no one there to serve notices on? He has been a long standing and reliable tenant until his disappearance. He did tell me in May that he would be visiting family in Slovakia in August, which he has done for the last two years without any problems.
