Hi I am a new member

Does anyone have any suggestions [other than Gumtree] on ways you can advertise a let on the web but without strings?

By this I mean charging prospective tenants for checks etc. This is because I want to remain in control of the vetting process, having been let down by an agent.

I know the RLA has a website but that's quite prescriptive and looks little used.

My research shows it seems we are limited to services like upad where tenant fees pay for the service. The portals like Rightmove don't appear to deal with private landlords at all.

Any ideas? Thanks.
