Gas and Electric Liability

Please can somebody advise me as to whether or not I am liable as a landlady if my Tenant has vacated the property and left debt owing to Scottish Power of £750 + pounds?

I have pictures of the meters from the say she vacated and also evidence of messages sent between us advising of the latest gas and electricity readings. I'm fuming with her as I imagine it's the same thing with the water, TV licence and council tax! The thing is none of them will disclose the information for data protection reasons but when you have a gut feeling it needs investigating so that's what I have done to discover this!
