1) I am a landlord that self-manages a number of properties that I own. Do I need to join a Property Redress Scheme? I can not find a clear answer to this under the definition of "Property Management Work".

2) A friend helps out with viewings when I'm re-letting - very informal but I do pay her for her time. Sometimes she will collect a holding deposit from the new tenant. Does she need to join a scheme?

Thank you,
Scott.
