So i completed a form UC47 in December, received a confirmation in January that it was accepted.Nothing happened, no payments sent through.I chased again and told to complete another form in Feb and again April. They have just put in place the APA from the April form. I am having conversations with UC because my tenant has gone onto receive 3 payments (not paying me). She has been in arrears since October and UC are saying in spite of me receiving a confirmation in January that I would start to receive the APA,they have paid my tenant instead. They are saying at the time of sending me the email, she didnt have a claim in place. The arrears will take 15 years to pay because they are only paying £40.00 a month. I served notice just before lockdown and along with others there is a backlog. Would love to hear from others where UC have messed up and next steps to recover the money. I have issued a MCOL and my tenant has agreed to part of the claim.
