What would be a good Tenancy clause wording for...
provided permission from the tenant to discuss any benefit claim with the authorities
i.e. tenants' Case Manager at UC

here's my first draft...
Should the Tenant ever be in receipt of DWP Benefits for Housing Costs
then they give their permission for the Landlord or thier Agent
to speak directly to the Benefits Case Manager and the DWP with regards to
the Tenants housing benefit or housing costs claim and thier overall benefits entitlement amount
so that the Landlord may be informed of
any problems that arise and their cause, In order to clarify any payment issues and to
assess the affordability for tenant of thier rental obligations.
