Hi there,

We have been granted a C4 class change. However the stipulation states that no more than 6 unrelated people are allowed to share the premises.

The question I have is:

If a couple share one room would this be classed as one household and therefore count as 1, as they would be related to each other?

The house meets criteria for room size for a couple and is around 13 sqm with enough space 30sqm of common space to accommodate the extra person(s). And all building regulations for fire safety would be met to accommodate the extra person(s).

Does this then become a license issue not a planning one?
