Haringey council is introducing a Licensing scheme for private landlords. They are imposing another additional tax on landlords, and making them responsible for antisocial behaviour etc, when they should be dealing with all this. It is asking for confidential information about landlords, asking for rent payment information which has nothing to do with the council, and making landlords responsible for anything that goes wrong with fine up to £30,000. What can NRLA do to stop this nonsense.
