I have recently purchased my first property with a tenant who has been there since 2015 and wants to remain as tenant. There has been no problem with him paying his rent or maintaining the property in the past. I would like advice about whether to retain the current letting agent or to self manage. I have joined NRLA this morning in the hope that with your support, I may be able to manage the let myself. I live locally to the property, have the previous tenency agreement and the property is one of a number of flats in a block so there is a management company involved. I have tried to make a call to NRLA but the website is not currently showing a way of doing this.
