I understand DWP do not pay part months when a tenant vacates. If they vacate during their assessment period the change takes effect from the start of that AP. So, what would happen if the tenant vacates (on date of Court possession Order) a couple of days after the end of their AP? Would the landlord receive a whole months rent? And if so, would the landlord have to refund the tenant for days overpaid?
