My tenant is over 2 months in arrears. I am considering requesting direct payments from DWP. 1)Is there a way of establishing whether my tenant is in receipt of Universal Credit (which I believe to be the case)? 2) I note the on line application asks for my tenant's date of birth. I do not have this, nor seem to be able to obtain it. Is it mandatory? 3) How long does the adjudication process normally take? Any information you can provide will be very helpful.
