Reclaiming property possible abandonment with rent arrears

I have tenants who is in rent arrears since November 2021 and the last contact was on January 4th stating they are out of the country & don’t know when they will be returning. The letting agent issued a section 8 notice in January. The property appears to be empty, so I have placed an abandonment notice on the front door. What is needed to legally reclaim back the property?
