I have a small detached bungalow which we let. The wall on the North side, is covered in ivy and getting worse causing potential damp and damage to the wall. The wall is NOT the boundary between us and the neighbour as there is a small hedge on the boundary about a foot past our wall. The neighbours drive separates the wall and their property, NOT any part of a building.
They refuse to allow us access to cut the ivy off the wall despite asking very politely. Best option?? Solicitors letter followed by County Court pursuance of the Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992 ?? Trespass is illegal of course.
Thanks
