Do I manage my properties myself or have them agency managed? I currently manage my own portfolio and have done for the past few years. However, I am finding it increasingly hard to keep up with all legalities as they change all the time. The tenants also have become more and more demanding and the state some of the properties have been left in in atrocious, the deposit companies I feel are 100% for the tenants and not the landlords and are not interested in releasing any funds even when full evidence has been submitted. Zero Deposit Guarantee being the hardest to deal with and being the biggest culprit. Pros and cons ?? Obviously, finances is on the cons list but in the long run, worth it ? Any advice please.
