Having recently been advised that my application for direct payments (for both rent and debt) have been approved, is there any formula to establish how much might actually be paid? To date I have received one payment in respect of rent arrears of £32.48 but no indication of the frequency or composition of this amount. With arrears in excess of £3k it might take some time to clear this! Any clues, or advice on a contact at DWP who might be able to help would be greatly appreciated.
