Asbestos Garage Roof

Hi. I have garage in the yard of a tenanted residential property, and the garage appears to have an asbestos roof (in reasonable condition). I am uncertain whether I am obliged to replace this, and it is proving very difficult to get a suitable contractor anyway. Has anybody got any advise on how to progress this, or any other alternatives ? Many thanks
