Re building insurance on a block of flats. The freeholder has changed the management company & our buildings insurance has now doubled. We are a block of 14 flats , 2 beds, 3 stories high, built in 1994 in Hampshire. They are claiming that all insurance premiums have increased due to Grenfell towers. We are told the premium will be £10K, this equates to just over £700 per flat which seems excessive to me.
