Best value paint for full house

I am looking to paint a full house, in between tenancies.

I'm looking for views on:-
- Scrubable paint? I've used Valspar many times, and a re-paint is needed after each tenancy. This time round, feels like I shouldn't waste my money again..
- Colour - white vs magnolia vs something else light - I'd prefer something else light.

If you agree with me that I just need normal paint, in something light, other than white and magnolia - what is the best thing to buy... the 10L tubs of white and magnolia from B&Q are hard to beat on price (but only come in those colours...).
