I've recently been contacted by a tenant who, after shortly moving into the property explained that a large shelf in the bathroom had fallen down and broken a number of her items below whilst also damaging the bathroom floor and cracking the showerhead and bath. The shelf has been up for years and I have never had any issues and can only infer, something heavy may have been placed on it. Who is responsible for the repairs please. A full inventory was completed prior to move in.
