Hi I am having a lot of issues with a letting agent that goes by Ts1 Ltd, who has let out my property to tenants. This agent refuses to share any information and has not conducted any verification on my behalf. They refuse to communicate any details regarding the tenant, so I do not have the contact number or even full names of the tenant. This agent seems very shady and dodgy. After pursuing him endlessly he shared a shorthold tenancy contract, which he downloaded from your website and reworked, and sent me a three-page photo of it on wats app. He has mentioned his company Ts1 ltd as the landlord. The rent is never on time and not the right amount, I have recently got to know utility bills may also not have been paid. On further investigation, the agent Ts1 Ltd has no website or contact person, just a flimsy email address to which I have written and they have refused to share information. He now has stopped taking my phone calls and refuses to share information of any kind. I have an email address of the tenant however I strongly believe it is not valid as I have written to them without any response. It is a 4-hour drive to this property from where I live and I am so anxious that there is some illegal activity and subletting going on.
My Query is 1> How do I deal with this agent? can I involve the police? 2> Your agreement has been used I can send you a copy, which does not mention anything about me as the landlord, it states his company is the landlord can I hold him accountable for misrepresenting ? can you hold such members responsible for misusing your resources and name? These tenants have not been vetted and as such, I am not sure if they have the right to work, rent or even live in the UK. How do I start this process of verification with them, they refuse to acknowledge my emails. I have written to them to say I will visit the property they have not reverted back to confirm. Can I still visit my property? How and who do I complain to about this agent? He has cheated us and continues to ignore my requests, where can I report this company?

Many Thanks
