NRLA Wales: Jarvis v Evans - what it means for possession, plus landlord update

This webinar was filmed on the 14/07/2020. In case you missed it or would like to listen again, we have prepared a recording for you to watch below.

A new Court of Appeal judgement has clarified the possession process for landlords in Wales, meaning only licensed landlords and agents, or solicitors can serve a valid Section 8 notice. It further widens the gap between landlord and tenant legislation in Wales and England. What will this mean for landlords in Wales?

Join Calum Davies, policy and public affairs officer for NRLA Wales, to discuss the case with the barrister acting for the landlord, Justin Bates, and David Smith, NRLA Legal Counsel.
