NRLA Midlands Regional Webinar: Renters Reform Update

We are delighted to welcome the NRLA Policy team to share the NRLA’s proposals for the forthcoming Renters’ Reform Bill, including revised grounds for possession, court reform and a new conciliation process, and ways to introduce lifetime deposits without disadvantaging landlords. The Government has committed to a Renters’ Reform Bill which will abolish Section 21, so-called ‘no fault’ evictions, amongst other changes. This will be the biggest change to the sector in three decades. While the Bill has been delayed due to the coronavirus response, the changes have cross-party support and will be implemented.
