NRLA South East: How will The Renters Reform Bill change the face of the Private Rented Sector?

The NRLA Policy team will be joining us to share the NRLA’s proposals for the forthcoming Renters’ Reform Bill, including revised grounds for possession, court reform and a new conciliation process, and ways to introduce lifetime deposits without disadvantaging landlords.

The Government has committed to a Renters’ Reform Bill which will abolish Section 21, so called ‘no fault’ evictions, amongst other changes. This will be the biggest change to the sector in three decades. While the Bill has been delayed due to the coronavirus response, the changes have cross-party support and will be implemented.
