I received a letter to repay housing benefits last year, I followed the advice found on here. I won the appeal and don't have to pay a penny. I keep every form of contact from the tenants including text messages and facebook messenger etc which I print out and keep.Being a member of Rla has saved me hundreds if not thousands of pounds. Don't just pay these overpayments, you've nothing to loose by appealing.
