I am a licensed landlord in Newham. I understand that their current selective licensing scheme ends in December 2017, and have applied to the Secretary of State to extend this for another Five years.

I saw a guardian article in August, stating that the Secretary of State has not made a decision about whether to approve the extension or not. Does anyone know whether a decision was made? I see the Newham website has facilities to apply for a new License but not for a renewal.
