Hello all,

I am about to start a new tenancy with a tenant that considers herself Covid19 vulnerable.

Not only to reduce the face to face risk but to streamline systems during these strange times we live in, I have noticed a lot of agents and businesses in general moving towards a system of electronic signatures for paperwork like AST's and Deposit forms etc.

As I self manage, is this ok to do via email and if so how can I do it myself as a self managing landlord with a small-ish portfolio? I obviously want to take care that any software/read receipts that will stand up to in courts or can a recipient simply type their name on the signature strip on a PDF?

Has anyone got any advice or experience with this?

Many thanks in advance.

Ben.
